Everlyn kicked a lose stone about as she walked the perimeter of the lake, though her eyes were more on her first pokemon. He was rather cute, at ant rate, if not what she had planned upon. The Cyndaquil - now nicknamed Muse - walked by his trainer's side, though opposite to the water and a few feet away from her. The trainer kept a cautious hand on his pokeball should there be a need to capture Muse once more, but allowed the pokemon to walk on his own for the moment.

A movement under the water could be seen..

Pausing in her step, Everlyn looked in the general direction of the movement in the water. How odd. "Do you want to stay here for a bit?" she questioned as she looked down at Muse. Perhaps they could find out what that was in the water. The look on his face clearly read 'no'.

A Mudkip's head emerged from the water. It jumped out of the lake and shook itself like a dog. The water went flying everywhere. The Mudkip began hopping around Muse.
"Mud. ^^"

Everlyn knelt by Muse's side, keeping a light hand on his side as he partially hid behind her, safe from the spray of water. "Well? Go say hello." she said, giving him a push towards the water pokemon.
Muse blinked, daring to lean in closer to get a look at the Mudkip, thingying his head. "Cyn?"

The Mudkip grinned and leaned in forward while reaching out a paw. Gently, it tagged him. It shrieked with happiness and ran off.
<You're it!> it called.

Muse's body jumped at the tag, the poor pokemon left clueless as his trainer was left laughing at him. Oh, yes... he remembered this game; he played it when he was let out with the others in the lab. After reminding himself of the goal, Muse bounded off after the Mudkip, jumping occasionally to keep up on short legs. So close...

The Mudkip grinned and jumped into a nearby bush. A Surskit and Wooper toppled out. They saw the Cyndaquil, screamed, and ran away from him.

Muse skidded to a stop in front of the bush, staring two... somethings he'd never seen before, though watched them run away. Was he that scary? He sighed, shaking his head and poking his nose into the bush, pushing it aside to see where the Mudkip had gone...

The Mudkip was still there.
<Remember you're it. They would run away from you.> It must have seen the look on on his face.

<...Oh,> he said after a moment, chuckling a bit at his own momentary stupidity. <Fine then...> Muse said, gathering his legs beneath himself to pounce on the Mudkip.

The Mudkip dodged, while laughing. In then ran in the other direction.

Muse shook his head to clear the dust from his fur, laughing as he chased after the Mudkip once more. So all water types weren't too bad after all... even if they could get him wet. So long as they didn't do that, they were fine in his book. He reached his paw out while running, reaching out to try and tag the finlike tail...

The Mudkip suddenly came to a dead stope, so did all of the other pokemon. Something big was in the lake..

Muse ran into the Mudkip, stumbling a bit away and shyly mumbling an apology. He rubbed his head a little, but it was no more then a small bump. Shaking his head, he finally caught on and followed the other's gazes to the lake. <...What is that?>
