<You- what?> he said, a little bit too quickly, backing away a tad bit as he looked at the other mudkip. He was certain he'd seen her around, but he wasn't any Henry. <I'm... not Henry. You must have the wrong guy - I mean...> he said, at a loss for words for the moment.

<Sure you are.> she said groggy. It seemed she had a little too much punch to drink. A big Mudkip appeared behind him.
<Are you hitting on my girlfriend?> it asked in a big, low voice.

<I - no! Never!> he said, quickly turning to face the other pokemon. <I would never do that to a girl!> he defended... but it came out a little wrongly worded. <Er...>

<Henry meet Henry.> said the Mudkip, her words almost slurring together.
<Sure, you weren't punk.> said the bigger Mudkip.

He smiled wryly, though it was fake - he was trying to act pleasant. <I'll just... leave you two now,> he said casually, slowly backing up and closer to the shore. Here's to hoping dear old Henry was as drunk as his partner. Already, he was formulating an escape plan. If he got chased there, swimming here would get him away fastest-

A pretty Azumarril walked by Mudkip. She smiled and waved at him. The Mudkips had already forgotten him.. They were off cheering at the limbo line.

The mudkip immediately paused as the pretty pokemon passed, stiffening a little as his face turned a pale shade of pink. <...Hi,> he said shyly, though the rest of his body cried for a retreat.

She smiled down at him. <AWWWW.... You're so cute. ^^>

<I - uh,> he said, seeming to have been given a terminal case of stammering in the last few minutes of being down here. Too much punch in the water? <...Thanks?> he murmured quietly, having to look down to hide his reddened cheeks.

<Do you want to dance?> she asked. She started dragging him towards the dance floor.

<D-dance?> he stammered, but his body felt rather weak, simply allowing himself to be dragged along, somehow not minding... aside from one thing. <I've never danced though...>

<Just feel the beat and push on these sunglasses.> she said, stuffing the glasses on his face. She smiled and began doing her own type of dancing.

He jumped a tad bit, putting a paw on the glasses to fix them a little bit. Managing a meek smile, the Mudkip watched how she danced before trying it himself. Partially mimicking what she and others did around him, but for now more concious about how goofy he probably looked...

A crowd quickly gathered around the two. They started to cheer. Wow they must be good.
They started shouting. <Go April! Go what-ever-your-name-is! Go April! Go what-ever-your-name-is!>
So that was her name...

April? Sounded familiar, actually, but he couldn't quit pinpoint where from. He didn't mind that the others didn't know his name; even he didn't know it. Sometimes it was easier going around nameless. He allowed himself a small laugh, letting his movements become less constricted and stiff - trying to let it flow more easily. This actually was simple...
