As Kiriki walked up to the three birds' shrine she thought Too bad poor Kyogre doesn't have his own shrine.She layed out gifts for each of the birds, especially Articuno. At the statue of Zapdos she layed down an oval necklace with ongoing lightning in it. At Moltres's statue she left a necklace filled with the hottest fire. Lastly she left Articuno a ripped drawing with a little bit of blood smeared on it. It was a drawing of Articuno himself and was tapped back together. She also left Articuno her most valuable possession - her necklace of Articuno. She than sat on her knees and started to talk aloud. "Masters of Fire, Ice, and Lightning I have come here to pray and leave you presents. I'm sorry Zapdos and Moltres but I've come for Articuno mostly. I hope I'm not bothering you and I apologize for this." she said.

The gifts that Kiriki left for the shrine began to glow a bright white, then they suddenly disappeared. A gentle wind passed through the shrine, then everything seemed to go calm and eerie. Nothing appeared to happen though...
" Thank you, young one, for the gifts you gave us. Now, is there a wish that we may grant you? "
A voice suddenly spoke to Kiriki, but there wasn't anyone else around. All the words sounded icy, so it must've been Articuno speaking. The eyes on the Articuno shrine were glowing a light blue, then the eyes of the Zapdos and Moltres shrines join in. |

"Articuno it is an honor hearing your voice. I wish for nothing. I only have a dream to meet a member of your species. I love your beauty and wisdom. I have had a fondness for your species ever since I saw an Articuno fly off in the distance back in Lilycove when I turned five years old." Kiriki replied back to Articuno. She was happy to hear Articuno's voice. "I believe that all three of you are noble and beautiful birds."

Maybe one day your luck will prevail, and you will get to meet me face-to-face. However, right now, you should just worry about becoming a better trainer. Maybe once you've grown in heart and experience, then come back and visit us. You might get a pleasent surprise. "
Articuno replied, and as it spoke, the air around the shrine seemed to cool down slightly. The glowing eyes from the shrine began to diminish, until they returned to that same stone colour as the whole shrine. |

"I will do that and come back. Thank you for your wisdom and for talking to me." Kiriki said as she stood up and started to leave. "Thank you." she said looking back at the statues and giving them a warm smile. The ends of her two tails were sticking up showing that she was happy and grateful.
