(Kris, you don't have to reply to this, I love shrines and am leaving a gift at every one. Also, just tell me if I can't do this and I'll delete everyting ^^)
Rika and Vulpix walked up the path to the shrine. This stop in their shrine-gifting expedition was Zapdos, Arcticuno, and Moltres's shrine. In her hands were three sticks of insense, each smelling differently, and three different pendants she had bought from a little old lady selling charms. Reaching the shrine, she looked at the three statues of the great birds. Before each, she placed insense that smelled of faraway places. One smelled of a burning plain filled with volcanos. One other smelled of the icey regions of the north. The other smelled of storms and lightning. Beside each burning stick, she placed a pendant with the likeness of the grest bird on it. She stayed for a bit, then left to continue her gifting expedtion.

After she left, a pokeball appeared where she was standing. The gifts were gone.
A blue feather floated down from the sky, and landed next to the pokeball.

Humming happily to herself, Rika walked up to Zapdos, Articuno, and Moltres's shrine. Vulpix was in her pokeball, so she had nothing to carry. She saw the shrine and looked around, seeing that the gifts were gone. Then she noticed the blue feather and the pokeball next to it. Not expecting anything, these gifts came as a surprise. It was very nice of them to give things to her. She walked over and picked the feather up. It was a very pretty blue. For a moment she wondered if it was one of Articuno's, but quickly dismissed the thought. What could she have done to deserve one of those feathers? She put the feather in a small, velvet-lined bow so that nothing would happen to it, then stowed in in an inner pocket so that nothing else would happen to it. Then, after that, Rika picked up the pokeball. She looked at it a minute, then opened it to see if anything was inside it.

Out of the pokeball came a light blue... egg... How can you fit an egg in a pokeball?

She looked in shock at the blue egg that had come out of the pokeball. Could you even put an egg in a pokeball? She picked it up gingerly. The great birds were very nice to have given her an egg. She put the egg down and reached into her bag. She had found a ring with three colored bands twined together. The colors were red, yellow, and blue. That would be a nice gift for the great Legendary birds, a symbol of three colors coming together. She put it in front of the shrine and bowed low thanking the birds. Then she picked up the egg and walked off, waving with the one free hand she had.
