Name: Nyomi Kirenti (NEE-OH-ME KE-REN-TEE)
Nickname: Nya (N-I-AH)
Age: 15
Gender: Female
Appearance:
With her cute deep blue eyes and long, flowing brown hair, Nyomi looks somewhat younger than she is. She is shorter than most girls her age, but when angry she flares up to appear much larger. She enjoys wearing light comfortable clothes, and since her school uniform is her favorite she usually wears it. Her uniform consists of an aquamarine skirt, navy blue top, and aquamarine bow on her top. She always wears her blue shoes with her school uniform, and she wears an aquamarine colored pin in her hair.
Personality:
Most people who know Nyomi have never seen her angry or sad. Or at least they didn't know if they did. Nyomi has a talent for hiding her feelings and acting happy and cheerful when around others. She does not wish to burden them with her problems and feelings, so until she is alone she puts on a smiling face. Of course, she usually is happy anyway as she rarely does get truly angry.
Nyomi loves to help other people with anything she can and she always tries to make new friends. Even if someone is rude or mean to her she tries to be nice or, if all else fails, she simply ignores them. But, if anyone dares to hurt her friends, physically or emotionally, she will become enraged and forget all about being kind and will often act unrationally.
History:
Nyomi grew up in a small town far away from the Maerene region with two sisters. All three of them were very diffrent in appearance as well as personality but they became the best of friends by the age of eight. Nyomi's Father loved them all very much, but one day there was an accident while he was at work and he died. When news came of their father's death, Nyomi and her sisters were very grieved, but their mother, who was rarely home anyways, hardly mourned for him.
Nyomi's mother sent her and her sisters away to different orphanages saying that she could no longer afford to keep them. Since then Nyomi has never seen her sisters, but she did manage to make a great friend. One day, barely a year after she was put into the orphanage, Nyomi and her friend were both adopted.
Nyomi's new family was very kind and loving and they treated Nyomi and her friend very well. The next year, when she was ten, Nyomi wanted to start on her training journey, but they lived to far from any lab so she had to wait. Luckily, about five years later Nyomi and her family moved to the Iris region and her foster parents said that she could become a trainer.
Nyomi has just recently finished helping her parents unpack their belongings, and she is now starting her journey as a Pokemon Trainer.
Role-Playing Example-
This is very random, but here goes:
The wind blew wildly about Riyoma's face, sending her hair flying all over the place, and causing her to have to squint to see. She was on a cliff overfacing the two armies. Dying screams of Pokemon and Humans alike filled the air as they combated each other, ruthlessly attacking with all of the might they could possibly muster. The ground was stained with blood and the bodies of the dead, yet the armies still fought on.
Riyoma wanted to scream, to yell out for them to stop, but being a mute this was impossible. Of course, the armies wouldn't have heard her plea anyway over the cries of battle. They would completely destroy each other! Somehow she had to make them stop the insanity, stop the fight. But how? How was she supposed to stop it, she couldn't even speak!
Suddenly Riyoma remembers the pokeball, her father's last gift to her before he died. She had been so overcome with grief at her father's passing that she hadn't even opened it yet. Hoping that the Pokemon inside would somehow be able to help her, Riyoma threw the ball into the air.
Gracefully and swiftly flying out from the pokeball was a Dragonite! It landed in front of Riyoma with a sparkling, twinkling light seeming to fall off of it in sprinkles. It looked at her, its eyes shining, and gave a low, courteous bow.
Riyoma was so shocked that even if she wasn't a mute, she wouldn't have been able to talk. She momentarily forgot about the battle, and simply stared at the Dragonite in awe. Her father actually trusted her with a strong Pokemon like Dragonite?
When a squeel issued up from below the cliff where they stood, Riyoma was brought back to the present with an unpleasent bump. She opened her mouth, forgetting that she couldn't speak, and then shut it again, anxiously trying to figure out a way to communicate with her Dragonite. Looking the Dragonite in the eyes, Riyoma concentrated on what she wanted, hoping that maybe somehow the Pokemon would understand. Nevertheless, Riyoma was surprised when the Dragonite noded knowingly, then lowered itself to let Riyoma onto its back.
Getting upon the Dragonite, Riyoma began to believe that she actually could do something. Maybe it wasn't so impossible to stop the battle afterall! As she and her Pokemon swooped over the cliff and down above the heads of the armies her hope rose. Knowing what had to be done, Riyoma pointed to the so-called sacred altar, the source of the fighting.
She needn't have pointed. The Dragonite already knew full well what she wanted it to do. Calm overcame the land as soon as the hyper beam hit its mark.
