No, Denkou didn't really understand why he came here.
The male had approached the shrine cautiously, not really having any intentions of making a wish here. He just... stumbled across this place. Paidi, his new Pichu was on his shoulder, admiring her trainer passionately.
"Hmm, now, what's this place?"
Denkou questioned when he stepped before the shrine of Zapdos, Articuno, and Moltres. He studied the shrine as Paidi searched his backpack for something. Within moments, the Pichu had pulled out a Nomel Berry that Denkou had found.
Paidi leapt off his shoulder, and approached the statue. She held up the berry to the stone figures of the birds.
"Aww, you guys look hungwry! Have this berry! My mommy won't mind one bwit! " The Pichu said to the shrine, not understanding that Zapdos, Articuno, and Moltres were only stone statues. She was too young to figure out this; she was just trying to be nice!

A gust of wind blew through the place..
Maybe you should make a wish?

Denkou felt the gust of wind blow his black bangs about, and huffed grumpily. What a waste of time, he thought. Suddenly, he noticed that Paidi had presented herself before the statues.
"Whoa! Paidi! Whatcha doing!?"
He exclaimed, and picked up his little Pichu. Paidi's ears perked up, and clapped her paws together happily. She felt good offering the berry to the statue, and wondered if the birds would actually eat it.
"Geeze... I wish I had a Pokemon that was crafty and cool... like one of them Sableyes..."
Denkou muttered under his breath, then patted Paidi on the head. He had heard about Sableyes when he was younger, and thought that they were the perfect kind of Pokemon for him; mischevious and mean.

(Nice avatar. xD)
A blue light shimmered through out the area. The berry quickly vanished, and two items replaced it. A pokeball and a Magnet for the Pichu.
Would you open the pokeball?

Whoa, that was crazy. Denkou watched as a blue light tinted the area, and the berry disappeared into thin air. Things like that don't normally happen. For once, Denkou felt a little scared. However, Paidi was happily clapping away, as if this was apart of her daily life.
After the light cleared, the male noticed that a Pokeball and a Magnet stood before the shrine. Was this real? Maybe he was going insane. Denkou stepped up to the items, and picked them up. Paidi quickly took the Magnet, and hugged it tightly, while Denkou stared at the Pokeball in disbelief. This was just too crazy! To see if this wasn't all just some hoax, he released whatever was inside that Pokeball.

Out of the pokeball came a Sableye! It yawned as it came out and squinted at the light. It turned its pointy head and indentified her surroundings. She stared at the Denkou and seemed to size him up.
<The bird sent me to be with you?!?!>

A Sableye! Denkou grinned widely at the sight of the Pokemon he had just wished for. Hey! This place was pretty sweet!
" Hey! Are you one of mommy's new Pokemon? "
Paidi questioned, speaking for Denkou. After all, the male couldn't understand what the Sableye just said. She didn't seem phased by the Sableye's harshness; that Sableye reminded her Denkou!

The Sableye glared at her. <No, I left my mommy after she annoyed me to death. So is mommy your trainer? Awww.... Your are Mommy's pokemon! Oh that's so cute.>

If there was any hint of sarcasm in the Sableye's voice, then Paidi never noticed it. The Pichu nodded proudly, happy to get so much attention from her 'mother'.
" You are certainly wight! I am a mommy's Pokemon! I love it! Mommy is so nice to me! I get lots of attention! You should come with us, miss Pokemon! "
The Pichu explained, nodding and glancing up at Denkou. The male looked down at Paidi with a blank expression, totally lost. Right now, he wished he knew what those two Pokemon were talking about...

The Sableye smirked and then half smiled. She kind of liked the Pichu, but it still got on her nerves.
<I'll join you if I have an argument with his starter. I want to see who's tougher.>

Paidi nodded, then squirmed out of Denkou's arms. The male watched curiously as his Pichu started rummaging through his bag, and pulled out Kyia's Pokeball. What was going on now, he wondered.
Paidi dropped the Pokeball on the ground, and Denkou's hot-headed Mareep appeared on the ground. She shook her fluffy fur, then stared boredly at the Sableye.
" Hm? And what waste of space is this? "
Kyia questioned, with a sassy attitude. She obviously wasn't too impressed to be released to deal with this Sableye.

The Sableye replied with the same bored voice. <The waste of space you're standing on.>

" Excuse me? Well, you're a pretty lame Pokemon. What are you doing here then? Why do I have to deal with you, kid? I'll make you run back to your mother! "
Kyia barked, unamused by this Sableye. She had no idea why she was summoned before this Pokemon, but whatever. She was ready to bash it up pretty good.
Denkou just stood there, and watched confusedly. Was Kyia going to battle this Sableye? Paidi sat on her trainer's shoulder, fiddling around with the Magnet that she got from the shrine.

<I'm stronger than you.> it said smirking. <Well I'm here 'cause your trainer wished for me. Now we're supposed to all get along and have a happy ending!> it said in a sarcastic tone.

" There's no way that you're stronger than me. "
Kyia said simply, disliking this Sableye's attitude. She hated any Pokemon that was like her; stubbron and mean. That's why she didn't like Denkou too much either.
" And listen, in this team, there's no happy endings. Not when I'm around. I make sure that no one is happy. "
She added, with a smug smirk. Ha, there, let's see what that Sableye's got to say now!
